WHO Warns Omicron Still Surging- 'No Country Is Out of the Woods Yet'

The World Health Organization's director-general expressed concern for health services on Tuesday as he warned the omicron variant of the coronavirus 'continues to sweep the world'. Speaking during a briefing in Geneva, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said there were 18 million new COVID-19 cases reported last week.
