Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman's wife Emma Coronel Aispuro sentenced to 3 y

The wife of Mexican drug lord 'El Chapo' Guzman has been sentenced to three years behind bars. Emma Coronel Aispuro pleaded guilty in federal court in Washington to helping her husband run his multibillion-dollar criminal empire. She also helped him plan a dramatic escape through a tunnel dug underneath a prison in Mexico in 2015. The leader of the Sinaloa cartel was recaptured the following year.
