Rights group says Chile must stop summary deportation of Venezuelan mi

Human Rights Watch says Chile is deporting hundreds of undocumented Venezuelan migrants without giving many of them the right to due process, including access to a lawyer. It argues this is inconsistent with the need to help Venzuelan migrants fleeing what Chile’s president describes as a dictatorship. More than five million Venezuelans have left home as economic and social conditions there have worsened.
